If you haven’t ordered from Black Trillium Fibre Studio, you need to stop by and peruse her hand dyed yarns!

new sock yarn
To the left is pictured 2 colorways I just got in the mail yesterday! I wish I could get a better picture, they are fantastic!
In the back is Tank Grrl, fushia and black. It is 60% Superwash Merino, 30% Bamboo and 10% nylon. SO soft and the colors will make incredible socks.
In the front is a new colorway of hers, Cassie, named after my daughter. I had been looking for a while for yarn that is dyed pink and brown. Those colors seem to be the new rage for girls and my daughter, like most girls her age, LOVE those colors together. After seeing Tank Grrl, I convo’ed Melanie on etsy and asked if she did that color combination. After chatting back and forth for a little bit she custom dyed the yarn! Cassie is 75% Superwash BFL Wool and 25% Nylon. The colors are just to “dye” for! excuse the pun!
I haven’t told Cassie that she has a new yarn colorway named after her. I am going to wait until the socks are complete.
Now comes the decision making… Knit or crochet… what pattern? Decisions, decisions!

For those of you who havent heard of CGOA, it is the Crochet Guild of America. I have been a member since 2002 and in the last 7 years, I have gained more than I can possibly say. I thought I would list a few reasons why I love the guild.
